The rules for using the Wild Ledger website and protocol
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wild Ledger websites, documentation, and protocol interfaces (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Wild Ledger protocol is experimental technology and should be used with caution. Nothing in these Terms constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
You may use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Wild Ledger provides open-source smart contracts and related tooling that enable decentralized conservation funding. The protocol is non-custodial and operates on public blockchain networks. You are solely responsible for your on-chain activity, including securing your wallets, private keys, and access credentials.
No entity is obligated to upgrade, maintain, or support the protocol on your behalf. Upgrades or changes may be proposed, discussed, or implemented by a distributed community of contributors.
Information provided through the Services, including documentation, dashboards, analytics, or projections, is for general informational purposes only. It should not be interpreted as financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
You should conduct your own research and consult qualified professionals before making any decisions relating to digital assets, conservation investments, or participation in the protocol.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with experimental cryptographic systems, including but not limited to:
You agree that you use the Services at your own risk and that Wild Ledger has no responsibility for any loss, damage, or claim arising from these risks.
You agree not to use the Services in any manner that:
The Services may integrate or interact with third-party wallets, exchanges, analytics tools, or other services. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their actions, content, or terms. Your use of third-party services is solely between you and the relevant provider.
Unless otherwise noted, content on the website, including branding, graphics, and text, is owned or licensed by Wild Ledger and may be protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
Open-source code repositories referenced by the Services are subject to their respective licenses, which govern your rights to use, modify, or distribute that code.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wild Ledger and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from or in connection with your use of the Services.
In no event shall the aggregate liability of Wild Ledger arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed the amount you have paid (if any) for use of the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Ledger and its contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the primary development team operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
